About Us
The Zinz family has been a staple in the Mahoning Valley for over 100 years. From the Zinz & Theis Popular Price Store (1915) to Zinz Floor Covering, Inc. (1952), and later Zinz Construction and Restoration, Inc. (2002) and Zinz Design & Selection Center, Inc. (2010), the Zinz family has consistently operated in the Youngstown area, weathering both economic growth and hardship. Their commitment to this area runs deep, as it is their cherished home.
Founded by Bruce L. Zinz, Zinz Construction and Restoration, Inc. embodies the core principles of hard work, integrity, compassion, and fairness. As the fourth generation of Zinz business owners, Bruce serves as the owner and President of both Zinz Construction and Restoration, Inc. and Zinz Design & Selection Center, Inc. He was born and raised in the area, graduating from Canfield High School and Youngstown State University, while gaining valuable experience working alongside family members from a young age, instilling in him the values of hard work and compassion.
After an extensive tenure as an insurance adjuster, Bruce established Zinz Construction and Restoration, Inc. in 2002, furthering his family's legacy as contractors in the Youngstown, Ohio area. He understood the importance of building a reputation that reflects his values, ensuring that customers, clients, and employees are treated with respect and fairness.
On our first day of business, we developed our Mission Statement, which continues to guide us today. Our team comprises over 20 full-time professionals who are committed to upholding the principles of our Mission Statement, striving to position Zinz as one of the leading construction companies in Youngstown, Ohio.
Our Home Office, located at 6495 Mahoning Ave, Austintown, OH 44515, houses our administration, project managers, estimators, human resources, and marketing teams. It is conveniently situated next to our sister company, Zinz Design & Selection Center, Inc., where their showroom features both contemporary trends and classic products in flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, and countertops.
At Zinz Construction and Restoration, Inc., we provide a wide range of construction and restoration services. Our construction offerings include residential and commercial remodeling, additions, and new construction. We take pride in being able to handle projects of any size, affirming that at Zinz, no project is too big or too small for our skilled contractors in Youngstown, Ohio.
Our restoration services focus on repairing properties damaged by fire, water, wind, lightning, vandalism, or other causes. We address both real and personal property damage.
