About Us
The Zinz family has been in business in the Mahoning Valley for over 100 years. From the Zinz & Theis Popular Price Store (1915) to Zinz Floor Covering, Inc. (1952) to Zinz Construction and Restoration. Inc. (2002) and Zinz Design & Selection Center, Inc.(2010) the Zinz family has remained in business in the Youngstown area through economic growth and hardship. The family is committed to this area as it is their deeply rooted home.
Zinz Construction and Restoration, Inc. was founded by Bruce L. Zinz on the basic principles that define him: hard work, integrity, compassion, and fairness. Bruce is the 4th generation of Zinz business owners and is currently the owner and President of Zinz Construction and Restoration, Inc. and Zinz Design & Selection Center, Inc. Bruce was born and raised locally graduating from Canfield High School, Youngstown State University and gained invaluable experience working alongside his father and family members from a young age learning the values of hard work, integrity, compassion, and fairness.
After an extended stay as an insurance adjuster, Bruce founded Zinz Construction and Restoration, Inc. in 2002 as his addition to his families legacy. Bruce believed it was essential to create and stand behind his families name in the industry in order to highlight his values and beliefs on how customers, clients, and employees should be treated.
Our first day of business included the development of our Mission Statement. Today, our Staff includes more than 20 full time professionals that continually strive to carry out the principles and values of our Mission Statement. Each one is dedicated to making Zinz the best in the construction and restoration industry.
Our Home Office is located at 6495 Mahoning Ave, Austintown OH 44515. This is home to our administration, project managers, estimators, human resources, and marketing teams. Our Home Office is neighbor to our sister company, Zinz Design & Selection Center, Inc. where their showroom displays new trends, as well as time tested products, in flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, and counter-tops.
At Zinz Construction and Restoration, Inc., we offer a variety of construction and restoration services. Our construction services include residential and commercial remodeling, additions, and new construction. We pride ourselves in being able to handle any project regardless of size. At Zinz, no project is too big or too small.
Our restoration services include the repair of property damaged by fire, water, wind, lightening, vehicle, vandalism, or any other cause of loss. Our property damage services include damage to both real and personal property. Our dedicated Staff understands the importance of communication and compassion throughout the repair process. Much of the work we do cannot be planned ahead. If a homeowner has an unexpected incident today, we need to act tomorrow – in order to help put our customers lives back together as uninterrupted and soon as possible. At Zinz, we are people who have dedicated our careers to helping people in their times of need.
Zinz Construction and Restoration, Inc. is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber and Safety Council. Members of our staff are certified through the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), as well as the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR).
